1. How does this all work?

General questions about website operation, payment and download procedure.

a. How do I order?

Have you browsed our site? Listened to tracks? Heard something interesting? Well, then you might have noticed the “Add to Cart” button below the release. Hit that and the release is added to your Shopping Cart. You can now either return to browsing our releases to find more interesting stuff or continue with the check-out process that will lead you through the steps that are needed to finalize the order. After check-out has been successfully completed, you will receive two e-mails. One confirming the payment, the other to tell you how to go about downloading the file or files that you ordered.

b. What do I get?

When ordering a release, you will get all tracks in MP3 format along with cover/inlay art images packed into one file as a download. This is a so called ZIP archive file, which means you will have to unpack its content after the download has completed. In most modern operating systems like Windows, Mac OSX or Linux, you can simply double-click the file to open the archive like a folder. Drag the files from the archive to where you want to store them like your Music folder or MP3 Player / iPod and you are ready to listen to them in your favorite player.

c. How do I pay?

When you have added anything to your Shopping Cart, just hit Checkout and you will be guided through the process. Upon final payment, you will be redirected to the PayPal service. Here you can either choose to pay with Credit Card, to log in with PayPal (if you already have or would like to open a PayPal account) or to cancel the procedure. Either way you will get redirected back to our website to see a page telling you the result.

Steps

Fill out Name and e-mail address.
Confirmation and redirect to PayPal.
Choose payment by Credit Cart or PayPal account.
Confirm/finalize payment and get redirected back to our website.
Wait for confirmation and your download instructions to arrive via e-mail.

If PayPal processed the payment fast enough, you might even be able to start downloading right after you get back to our website. If so, you will see a download button below the Thank you message on the confirmation page.

d. How do I play?

Listening to the music files should be fairly simple. In most modern operating systems like Windows, Mac OSX or Linux, there is a music player available. Simply double-click the MP3’s and they will be opened in the default music player on your system. If you want to listen to them on your portable MP3 player, phone or iPod, please see the instructions and/or software provided with that equipment.

2. Something went wrong!

Troubleshooting questions for getting back on track.

a. I did not get one or both the e-mails

Do not panic and check your Spam folder first!

Spam filters are the most common reason why e-mails get lost. Many people even have two filters without knowing it.
One more obvious filter in their usual Mail Program (e.g. Outlook) that drops messages that it judges to be spam in a separate folder upon fetching them from the mail server. But also another less known filter working at the providers mail server. This might mean that you need to log in to web-mail to open the Spam folder of your Inbox on the server.

b. When I try to open the ZIP, I get a message the archive is corrupted

This indicates the ZIP has not been completely downloaded. Please see “The download stopped before the end” below here.

c. The download stopped before the end

If the connection drops during download, just return to the download section and log in again. Your download will remain available for 3 attempts which usually is plenty. But in the event that that’s not enough, write us a quick note and we’ll up that number again.
